$18,500 for Three training stations

Project Leader: Hin Hiong Khoo

The project is "China, The Silkroad Connection." From the hundred graduates from their schools in China, ten dedicated their lives to start stations along the Silk Road. Many traders come from all over China to trade at the trading posts set up by merchants. What is the Silk Road? The following is a United Nations Report: "The new Silk Road region is emerging from decades of centrally planned economies that were closed to foreign investment...the Silk Road region is considered to be one of the world's most potentially lucrative, untapped investment locations. It is brimming with natural resources such as petroleum, natural gas, hydro-energy, and minerals, while the region also excels at producting agricultural goods, including cotton, fruits and vegetables, meat and animal hides, and seed oils. The famed cities and attractions along the Silk Road make for one of the world's most intriguing regional tourism destinations. On top of these endowments, the Silk Road countries have an educated workforce that offers significant advantages over other parts of Asia and Africa."  source UNDP. They need $4,000 for each station (different from the seven centers currently operatedy by International Christian Mission). They want to start at lest three stations in 2011. Help is needed to launch the program. Sensitive Report: There are additional funds needed for a project in a Western Asia Shiite country for printing, translations and distribution of Gospel material.
