January letter from Martin and Helen Fessler...Dear Faithful Friends:  Greatest (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) greetings in Him who is able and has promised "abundantly even more than we can even ask or think!"

As I was preparing this New Year and to speak at the watch night service in Reynosa, God gave me Ephesians 3:20. Abundantly, was the key word. It is 2013! We are in the thirteenth year of the third millennium; a millennium of God's resurrection power and fullness. Thirteen is a bakers dozen. It is the full dozen plus one. It is laignape in Louisiana, pilon in Mexico and abundance for our new Year. It is the extra blessing God wants to bless us with in this power year of the Lord!

In 2012...This past year has been one of great challenges, moving and ministry. These past three months have been a time of reflection and at the same time ministry. It was an outstanding time of remembering as we return to Montemorelos to celebrate the 42nd Anniversary of Temple La Alabanza (Temple of Praise). Forty-two years ago we helped start and build our first church after moving to Montemorelos. It was a blessed time seeing many of the believers who were there at the first services and remembering those who are now in the presence of the Lord. A new generation is now rising into leadership.

Helen and I were specially blessed by Josefina ministering as the main speaker. She is the pastor of a growing church in Monterrey. Fina lived with us for years when she was young. We especially remembered the times she took our girls with her walking across rivers on log bridges to minister to the children in outlying areas of Montemorelos. Later, the twenty-five hours of teaching at the Oasis School of Missions was an elation to my spirit as young Mexican believers prepared for world missions. The year came to an end with two outstanding mission conferences. The first was in Monterrey at the Castillo del Rey (King's Castle). Larry Stockstill, Diane Brask and others ministered and challenged the pastors and believers to new heights of integrity and world missions. Many young people were challenged to and committed to serving the Lord in foreign lands. Wow! God is raising up a new generation of missionaries and Mexicans on top of that. The going and praying commitments were backed by generous missionary-giving commitments for this New Year.

The second conference was in Reynosa at Vision Y Restauracion church. Again, powerful challenges were given for "Taking His Name to the Nations." Mexico to all nations!

Thank you...Thank you one and all for all your prayers and support this past year. This has been the best year ever because you and the Lord have been with us all the way. Please earnestly pray for the upcoming trop to Cuba. Along with ministry we hope to have 3,000 Knowing God books printed there. I will also be teaching a missions course at the I.B.C. school of missions in February challenging chosen young people for world missions.

In His more than enough abundance we serve, Martin and Helen Fessler
