The purpose of Worldwide Missionary Evangelism is to promote genuine ministerial fellowship within the context and support of Christian love. We purpose to counsel, train, and guide those with a call of God upon their lives. Our vision shall actively pursue evangelism at home and abroad by encouragement to the local church and minister and by unified world mission projects.

We are a worldwide network of friends, pastors, churches, missionaries, and evangelists.

We are a fellowship of ministers with a global network of ministries. We rejoice that the sun never sets on the ministries of WME. It is our desire to see The Great Commission fulfilled in our generation. On this website you will find information about our history, our beliefs, and our strategy in fulfilling God's call upon our lives. We desire to help ministers work together toward fulfilling their destinies with excellence. We believe we can accomplish things together which we could never do alone. WME is “your ministry connected.”

We have deep roots.

Worldwide Missionary Evangelism was founded January 17, 1956 by one of the world’s leading missionary statesmen, Morris Plotts, known throughout the body of Christ for his vision and commitment to the world of evangelization.

In 1971 Brother Morris Plotts met with Rev. W. S. McMasters, Rev. Howard Holton, and Rev. Kemp C. Holden, Jr. indicating his desire to broaden the base of W.M.E. and make it a fellowship that would serve the entire body of Christ. From that time W.M.E. has broadened its base and served many ministers and has provided a catalyst in bringing mission projects, missionaries, and mission-minded ministers together in the building of many churches, Bible schools, and training seminars for national leaders overseas.

In February 1975, W.M.E. sponsored a Ministers Seminar for the strengthening, encouraging, and instruction of ministers. In addition to this seminar, the Missions Conference held in October became an annual conference providing hundreds of thousands of dollars for mission projects around the world.
